The Historica in Rhodes
Historica is a cycling event where cyclists from around the world come together to recapture the spirit of an older era. Everyone will participate with classic bicycles and clothing from the 1980s and older. The event route will visit historic sites and traditional villages to taste and experience local culture, cuisine and produce.
Historica is not simply a cycling race. It is an opportunity to meet new cycling friends and visit historic sites and experience different cultures around the world.
Rhodes has a great tradition of cycling and, of course, a unique historical wealth which provides all the necessary ingredients for an event such as Historica.
The event will re-create the experience of cycling in the ‘80s, ‘70s, '60s and before
and also make new memories of the beauty and history of the island of Rhodes. It is for people who want to acquaint themselves with Rhodian culture in this unique way.
